Day of Caring

 

Beginning in 2017, Westminster has served the greater Jackson community in an annual "Day of Caring".  Part of our worship that day is engaging in acts of service.  Projects have included spring cleaning the gardens at Jackson County Medical Care Facility, sorting items donated to Habitat for Humanity ReStore, installing a Blessing Box (mini food pantry) on the edge of the church property, making lap robes, baking cookies to deliver to First Responders, and sprucing up the entrance to Family Service and Children's Aid.
